The company offers a full range of project development services – from the acquisition of land, procurement of building permission for entire urban districts and the construction of residential complexes and commercial properties through to the handover of turnkey property to tenants and buyers. It is synonymous with high-quality architecture innovative, cityscape-defining ideas. Munich is our main arena; other key markets are Hamburg and Berlin.
In 2023, the previously integrated real estate company Bayerische Hausbau was unbundled to create two independent companies, one dealing with real estate and one with project development. Bayerische Hausbau Development has since focused on real estate development, while its sister company, Bayerische Hausbau Real Estate, takes care of the diverse real estate portfolio.

The development of urban spaces plays a key role in the context of the quality of life and economic power of cities. Bayerische Hausbau Development focuses on large-scale commercial and residential projects in locations in city centers or close to cities. With Munich as our core market and Hamburg and Berlin as additional key markets, we implement projects that enrich life lived in the city.

Renovating existing structures and breathing new life into these structures is another focal point of the work we do. The repurposing of a building in Munich's Kardinal-Faulhaber-Straße as a hotel and the revitalization of the Huthmacher Haus in Berlin provide examples of how we increase the value, extend the lifecycle and ensure contemporary use of existing properties.
In the commercial sector, we create spaces that set new standards in terms of functionality and aesthetics.
