Christoph Michl is a new member of the holding’s executive board

Munich, September 24, 2012. The quartet becomes a quintet: As the fifth member, Christoph Michl is joining the group’s executive committee next to the chairman Dr. Klaus N. Naeve and the other members Dr. Jürgen Büllesbach, Alexandra Schörghuber and Roland Tobias. He will continue to pursue his previous field of responsibility. With the threefold parent Michl (46), who grew up in Munich, the corporate group is expanding its executive board organically. After studying brewing and beverage technology at Technische Universität München Weihenstephan (degree: chartered engineer) and business science at Hochschule St. Gallen (degree: licentiate), as well as his first occupation in the controlling of Henninger Bräu AG in Frankfurt am Main, Michl entered the Schörghuber Stiftung & Co. Holding KG as controller on February 1, 1997. In 1998, he moved to Paulaner-Salvator-Beteiligungs-AG, the preliminary organization to today’s Brau Holding International GmbH & Co. KGaA, as director of business administration. One year later, he returned to the holding committee of the corporate group as director controlling. In 2004, Christoph Michl entered the hotels corporate division as director controlling for Arabella Hotel Holding International GmbH & Co. KG, today’s Arabella Hospitality SE, parallel to his position as member of the management board for ArabellaSheraton Hotelmanagement GmbH, the former joint venture company with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. At last, he returned as director share management to Schörghuber Stiftung & Co. Holding KG in 2009, as well as assuming his position as managing director of Schörghuber Corporate Finance GmbH, which is governing the corporate group’s finances. In addition, he was
given procuration of Bavaria International Aircraft Leasing GmbH & Co. KG. Christoph Michl is also member of the administrative board of Arabella Hospitality SE, member of the board of directors as well as chairman of the finance committee directors of Productos del Mar Ventisqueros S.A.

For Alexandra Schörghuber, chairwoman of the board of trustees, and for the chairman of the executive board, Dr. Klaus N. Nave, Michl’s appointment to the executive board is “a logical consequence of his continuously successful work”. Not only thanks to his highly professional direction of the group’s treasury, but also to the reorganization of the partnership with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc., a result of negotiations that he considerably contributed to and which is already proving its first commercial success, as well as his tremendous effort to integrate the Chilean salmon cultivation into the corporate group, Michl was strongly recommended for a seat in the executive board. Schörghuber and Dr. Naeve: “We cordially congratulate Christoph Michl on his new position and look forward to continue to work with him”.
